More Details

As you will note, we have outlined a set of activities that are 2003 class specific starting Saturday afternoon with an area for our class to meet for the tailgating party.  We will then have a class reunion party starting at 6:30 at Iberia Restaurant in Menlo Park.  This will include a tapas style dinner with beer/wine and sangria (yum) on the patio.  We are looking for a casual, fun setting that will encourage conversation and mingling. We are also looking into some background music.  Sunday morning we are arranging for a brunch that will cap off our activities.

Need Childcare?
We know that many of you will be bringing your families.  We are arranging for child care Friday (Gala Dinner) and Saturday (our party) evening through the Girl Scouts (Thank you Suzanne Berg!!!).  This will include fun activities and adult supervision.  Children are welcome for the lunch  and brunch activities.

How Do I Pay for Our Class Mini-Reunion Events?
I will be setting up a Pay Pal account to facilitate payment for the party at Iberia Restaurant or you will be able to send me a personal check.  You can make your payment to Pay Pal either by debit or credit card.  If you use a credit card there will be an additional cost.  I don't know the % cost of the credit card yet but will let you know when we ask for payment.  So far we don't need to put money down for the brunch).  I anticipate the reunion party at Iberia will be around $100 a person…but I need to get an idea of how many will attend; then I can get specific on the amount.  We will need to pay this in advance so it will require a commitment in the next 30-60 days.  The champagne brunch will cost apprx. $25.

What to Volunteer?
The Sloan 50th Website contains all the info on the 50th Anniversary activities and program.  Our activities are completely separate and will we use the Bay Area Sloan's to coordinate those.  Matt Barnard is our class point of contact but we are trying to distribute the work…volunteers are always appreciated!!!

Who's Coming?
So far about 50% of our class has indicated they will attend the anniversary.  This will be a great opportunity for all of us to get back together…let's make it 100%!!!!

  • Check out "Who's Coming" - a list of those that have registered to attend.
