Join ACT's network of GSB alumni. Donate your professional experience to help nonprofits throughout the Bay area. 

ACT welcomes GSB alumni from all classes and professional backgrounds, from strategy to business planning, marketing to real estate, finance to operations. Through ACT more than 1,000 GSB alumni have contributed their talent to hundreds of nonprofits in support of the arts, the environment, children, education, social services, affordable housing and more.

Make a Difference

ACT structures projects so that you can make an impact within a defined time frame, from 3 to 6 months.  Twice a year ACT offers a variety of consulting opportunities in San Francisco, the Peninsula, the East Bay and Marin. You choose the location, the organization and the role you'd like to take. 

Get Involved

ACT offers three types of consulting roles:

Full Team 5-8 consultants 6 months 8-16 hrs/month
Fast Track 1-3 consultants 2-3 months 10-15 hrs total
Project Lead 1-2 per project 8 months 15-20 hrs/month
